Arguably the most important step. People need to know about safe usage, age restrictions, what is actually in the products on the shelf, and where the law currently stands.
Packaging, placement and age verification. Any framework that does not take this seriously deserves to fail, and we would rather write those rules than inherit them.
Forming a business owner group to advocate collectively. Retailers currently negotiate with regulators one at a time, which is how they lose. Organised, the market has a voice.
Alabama passed medical marijuana and then kept it out of reach of nearly everyone it was meant to help. Having the law on the books is not the same as having the medicine on the shelf.
Sessions open to the public covering safe usage practices, age restrictions, ingredients and the legal position. Details will be posted here once dates are set.
