What to say
Keep it to one page. Open by saying you are a constituent and name your county. State your position in a single sentence. Then give one figure and one reason, rather than five of each.
The figures on our numbers page are sourced and free to use. The $22 million enforcement cost and the 42% possession share tend to land hardest with people who have not looked at this before.
Close by asking for a specific thing: a meeting, a position, or a vote.
